WELCOME

Road network is a base for social and economic development of any region, country or continent. In the White Paper of 2001 „European transport policy for 2010: time to decide“, European committee has pointed a need for evaluation of safety conditions on road network, and a need for traffic safety control. The objective was to cut in half a number of deaths in traffic accidents in the time period from 2001 to 2010 on the European Union roads.

According to Directive 2008/96, (Road infrastructure safety management), there are a lot of possibilities for improvements in the field of traffic infrastructure and those possibilities should be used in a best possible way.

Representatives of state will take part on the Conference, which are in any way involved in management and construction of road infrastructure and safety control. This conference is opportunity for all of us to become better experts through knowledge exchange and to increase road traffic safety.
