THE FIRST B-H CONGRESS ON RAILWAYS
On behalf of Association of Consulting Engineers Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is my honour and pleasure to invite you to the First B-H Congress on Railways, which will be held on September 29th-30th 2011.
The First B-H Congress on Railways is the outstanding opportunity at international level for the exchange of scientific and practical experiences of researchers, manufacturers, operators and infrastructure managers in sector of railways. The Congress on Railways provides the opportunity to governmental and financial sectors to participate in work of the Congress and to contribute its successfulness on the basis of own experiences in realisation of projects in sector of railways.
Railways are now more than before the safest transport mode, environmentally acceptable more than other transport systems and more economical for the most of transports.
The Congress will treat the actual topics such as:
- Development strategy of railway transport system
- Studies and designing
- Railway management
- Infrastructure
- Rolling stock
- Safety
- Operation
- Interoperability
- Protection of environment
- Financing
Reviewed papers will be published in the form of Proceedings, which will include the abstracts and the CD with complete content of the papers.
Capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo, represents one of the most interesting and popular destinations of Europe lately. Sarajevo is recognised worldwide as a fascinating city with the mixture of various cultures and numerous locations of cultural-historical monuments.
